A Country Christmas favorite, The World Championship Dummy Roping For Kids will be held in our main stage area. Children 5 years and under, 6-8 years old, and 9-11 years old will compete for prizes. World Champion Cowboys judging this great event always include the top stars from the National Finals.
Hundreds of little ropers traveling as far away as the East Coast will be competing for The World Championship Dummy Roping Title. Prizes include tack, roping supply products and trophy saddles to the champions.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
December 11th - 11am - Age 5 and under.
3 Legal head Catches, 1 Helper Allowed On Stage -
Fishing is Allowed
NEW: Age 6 - 8 Preliminary Round
Each contestant will get 3 loops and if they catch all 3 they will return for the finals!
December 12th - 11am - Age 6 - 8 FINALS
3 Legal Catches - No Fishing
JUDGES MAY GO TO SLICK HORNS IF NEEDED
NEW: Age 9 - 11 Preliminary Round
Each contestant will get 3 loops and if they catch all 3 they will return for the finals!
December 13th - 11am - Age 9-11 FINALS
Slick Horns - No Fishing
Rules:
Contest will consist of three rounds. Note: For 6-8: 3 legal catches, no fishing. JUDGES MAY GO TO SLICK HORNS IF NEEDED. No line, contestants who catch all three will rope in the Sudden Death Finals for the Main Awards. A line will be marked and the Reach Contest will begin. As always, JUDGES DECISION WILL BE FINAL!
